Special Congregational Meeting

UU Society of Geneva

Register Now For Special Congregational Meeting
May 3, 2020, 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
To be held via teleconference (Zoom)

The big day is coming! A Special Congregational Meeting will take place on May 3, 2020, to call our settled minister. In accordance with UUSG’s bylaws, a quorum of 40% of the voting members of the Society (101 members) is required to hold this meeting. Due to stay-at-home precautions required by the Coronavirus pandemic, this meeting will be conducted electronically using Zoom. Also, in order to effectively manage the vote, only voting members will be allowed to participate. (email office@uusg.org if you are not sure of your member status)

To receive the meeting link, members must register no later than Saturday, May 2, 2020. Upon registering, UUSG’s Congregational Administrator (Christine Imielski) will confirm your member status and approve your registration, after which you will receive an email containing a personalized link to the meeting.

We are doing everything we can to ensure that this process is intuitive, trustworthy, and as simple as possible. Additional information about how the virtual meeting will be managed will be shared soon. In the meantime, please register now! If you have questions or concerns about your ability to participate in this important milestone for UUSG, please do not hesitate to contact me or Christine by email or by phone.

Sincerely,
Brian Doyle, Board President
