Annual Day of Service 2020
It is with great regret that we are cancelling the Northern Illinois Food Bank shift that had been scheduled on the Day of Service. While the need for volunteers still exists, in the interest of keeping our members and friends safe, we will reschedule the event for some time in the future.
The Northern Illinois Food Bank still needs volunteers, especially now in this time of great concern. If anyone would like to volunteer as individuals, or as a family while the schools are closed, please contact Rose Stelter at rstelter@northernilfoodbank.org to schedule a shift. The NIFB will be practicing social distancing along with their existing sanitizing procedures. Shifts are available on most weekdays and Saturdays.
If you have signed up to bring paper products or put together school supply kits, please hang on to those items until UUSG resumes in-person Worship Services. Thank you to all who have signed up.
