Cookie Walk 2024
WOW, this will be our 41st year of our Cookie Walk!!
This year’s Cookie Walk Fundraiser is Friday, December 6th!
This favorite event is widely publicized and part of the Geneva Christmas Walk and one of our yummiest fundraisers of the year! Last year was a BIG success and we are looking to duplicate all of the energy, camaraderie and delicious treats!!
WE NEED BAKERS to start thinking about which festive cookies you can bake this year. The more we have, the more we can sell! Sign up and indicate how many dozen you are able to bake. Additionally, as you know, we need a slew of volunteers to help build cookie boxes, set up the night before and clean up the night of the walk. Please plan on being a part of this fun event!
You can help by doing any of the following:
Bake cookies (6, 12, or 18 dozen—or more!).
Set up for the event on Thursday, December 5, 4-8pm.
Work at the event itself on Dec. 6: 3:45-5:30pm or 5:15-7pm.
Post flyers around town before the event. (Available in the Common Room on November 3).
Want to Bake?
Please make festive holiday cookies (the plain ones, as tasty as they may be, just don’t sell as well).
Please use recyclable containers. We also have a TON of containers saved from last year that will be in the Common Room starting Sunday, November 3. Reuse one of these in lieu of buying one!
Make sure cookies are well-protected and attach the name of the cookies. Please label clearly! If the cookies have nuts, please indicate what kind.
Drop off your cookies on Thursday, December 5, between 10:30am and 8pm. If you need to arrange a separate time, please email Christine at office@uusg.org.
Holiday Raffles:
We will have a few holiday items to raffle off – look for more on this in the coming weeks.
Do you have any unique and eye-catching holiday items to add to the raffle? Please reach out to the Cookie Walk Coordinators at cookiewalk@uusg.org.
