DEI Workshop: The Savvy Ally

UU Society of Geneva

Join us on November 18 for a workshop with Jeannie Gainsburg, the founder of Savvy Ally Action. Jeannie’s book The Savvy Ally is a guide to becoming a skilled LGBTQ+ advocate. She will be speaking about gender fluidity, pronouns, and avoiding the trap of heterosexist language. Jeannie will be joining us remotely. Participants can attend in-person in the Common Room or online via Zoom. The Common Room will be open at 4:00 pm for social time and Jeannie’s workshop will run from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Stay afterwards for a light dinner, desserts, and discussion. Wear your favorite rainbow attire! Please sign up here by November 13th. For more information, contact deileader@uusg.org.
