The second annual Fox Valley Women's March is taking place Saturday, January 18 with gathering at 11 a.m. and speakers/march at noon.. It will be held at the courthouse parking lot at the corner of Third Street and James in Geneva. A number of UUSG members and friends have participated in the past. This year we will make people aware of our presence by carrying a UUSG banner and signs. Marchers are invited to make signs beginning at 10:30 on the 18th in the Alcott Room in UUSG. Please bring poster board. We will provide markers, ideas for wording, and string (so you can wear your sign around your neck). The sponsoring group's mission is to engage in current political events, raise voices to our elected officials, and hold our elected officials accountable. So grab your family, friends and neighbors; bundle up; and get out the pink!
