Welcome Orientation (weO) Team

On Sunday mornings, we reach out to strangers with welcoming words, a listening ear and willingness to orient them to UUSG and UUA. Pleasant exchanges can transform anxiety into curiosity, strangers into friends.

In addition to greeting on Sunday morning, three times a year we offer a two-part series designed to inform visitors about Unitarian Universalism and provide an opportunity to explore membership at UUSG. Each class generally takes two hours, and a meal is served.

Smiles, brochures, connect cards, conversation and common room treats, and videos are the tools of our trade. Members, new or long-time, are invited to join the team.

Meetings: are once a year in August, but we communicate during and after each service as well as weekly via email.
