It's that time of year again...back to school! It's time to get your kids registered for religious education at UUSG. All children and youth who may attend the nursery (ages 6 months-6 years) or class (K-12), must be registered. Please fill out the online registration form at your earliest convenience. Forms are due Thursday, Sept. 1 so we can get things in order for Homecoming Sunday on Sept. 11.
Planning for the year entails knowing how many kids will be in our program at each grade level and ensuring we have the volunteers to make it run smoothly. Speaking of volunteers, our religious education program is entirely volunteer run. We do not charge tuition or registration fees. Instead, we ask every parent/guardian to contribute to this program by assisting in one class each semester. You will be paired with an experienced teacher who will do the lesson planning. Please note, the registration form now reflects an avenue to help us achieve this goal. Completing it will help connect volunteers with opportunities. It is not a sign-up sheet - you can always accept or decline a particular opportunity once you know the details and your availability.
