Anti-Racism Book Discussion: An Invitation from UUSG’s Buddhist Group and Social Justice Team
Many of us are deeply concerned about the continued problem of racism in our communities and in our world as a whole. Lisa Gades, in cooperation with Myoyu Roshi at Great Plains Zen Center, will be co-leading an interfaith book discussion on fighting both systemic and personal racism. Please join us! The online discussion will meet every 2 weeks from January through May, covering two important books:
White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of our Racial Divide by Carol Anderson
White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo
Please contact Lisa (uubuddhism@uusg.org) for more information.
